Movie Making in Historic Yellow Springs

Ready on the set!  Action!  Join a movie-making tour of Yellow Springs’ film history, highlighting the 1959 sci-fi hit “The 4D Man”  Discover how the buildings and grounds became movie sets for actors such as Robert Lansing, Lee Meriwether and the young Patty Duke.  Good News Productions devised imaginative special effects and took advantage of the historic structures and landscape to enhance the impact of the film.  First person narratives will be given by costumed characters with vintage photographs of the GNP in action.  Light Refreshments and a full showing of the film will follow the tour in the Black Box Theatre of West Pikeland Townships Cultural Center.
