Founded in 1978, Chester Springs Studio is a nonprofit visual arts center located in the historic village of Yellow Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania.

The Studio is an outgrowth of Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ world-renowned “Country School,” which thrived in the village from 1917 to the 1950s.

Dedicated to the belief that artists and art-making play a vital role in our lives and in our communities, the Studio originates dynamic cultural programs for the support and enjoyment of art.

Chester Springs Studio provides master classes, a visiting artist series, artist residencies, exhibitions and outreach programs.  Programs are offered for all ages, from children to seniors, and for all levels of experience.

The Studio has also distinguished itself as a destination for nationally recognized artists, who choose its facility to create original works of art and to present exhibitions, lectures and workshops.
